Everest Base Camp Luxury Heli Trek is specially designed for people having a short time on a holiday but still want to experience the mesmerizing journey to the base of the tallest mountain in the world, by taking the return trip by helicopter. Everest Base Camp Luxury Heli Trek by far remains one of the most awe-inspiring treks in the world both in terms of the majestic mountain scenery combined with the beautiful Sherpa culture that it has got to offer. During this trip, we will be using luxury hotel accommodation wherever they are available for your comfort.
Starting the journey of Everest Base Camp Luxury Heli Trek with an exciting flight from Kathmandu to Lukla we then follow the normal/standard itinerary up to the base camp from where we will then take a return flight back to Kathmandu by helicopter with the soaring Himalayas and the Ariel views of the gorgeous valleys and the hills.
Because of the need for proper acclimation, it will be necessary for us to follow the normal approach to the base camp while going up, so this itinerary to has been specially designed taking this fact into account. However, if you happen to have a shorter time than what has been proposed here then please feel free to let us know and we will be more than happy to customize the itinerary according to your specific need and preference. Should you wish to use helicopters both ways to minimize the time and still experience the grandeur of the world’s tallest mountain and its surrounding peaks this can also be possible. So please feel free to discuss your ideas with us and we will come up with a befitting plan for you.
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, one of our team representatives will be at the airport to pick you up, and he will then take you to your hotel.

You will fly to Lukla today. The flight will be around 40 minutes long and present you with scenic views of hills and snow-capped mountains. After reaching Lukla, you will trek to Phakding. You will trek through the main trail in Chauri Kharka and further, follow the east bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Passing by small settlements, you will reach Phakding.

You will trek towards Namche Bazaar by ascending along the west bank of the Dudh Koshi River towards the small village of Toktok. You will see Mt. Thamserku (6,608 m) on the distant horizon and reach Bengkar village. From here, you will cross a suspension bridge and reach Jorsalle. Further, you will go through the dense forest of pine and finally reach Syangboche.

Today is your rest day at Syangboche to get acclimatized with the increasing altitude. Alternatively and if you would like, you can also hike around the area and witness gorgeous views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,414 m), and Mt. Ama Dablam (6,856 m) among many others.

You will begin trekking by ascending towards Syangboche and trek to Khumjung Village. Further, descending towards Dudh Koshi River, you will pass through lovely old villages. The trail will lead you to the dense pine and fir forest, and ascent to Tengboche. You will visit one of the oldest monasteries of this region, Tengboche Monastery which offers great views of the mountains in the Everest region.

You will descend towards Dingboche, and further, you will cross Imja Khola and ascend to Pangboche Village. You will again ascend through the dense forest of juniper, and after walking for around two and a half hours, you will reach Dingboche. You also pass numerous small settlements and local porters along the way to Dingboche.

It is your optional acclimatization day at Dingboche. You will indulge in short hikes around the area and Chhukung village is a great option for such activity. You will get to see stunning views of Amphu Lapcha (5663m), Island Peak (6 189 m), and the white ice lake of Imja Tsho. If you wish to explore the village, you are free to do so too.

You will begin trekking towards Lobuche with the astonishing views of snow-capped mountains. You will ascend on the tough curved path through rocky glacier moraine, and after reaching the top, you will find several stone caves, built in the memories of the Sherpa who died on their journey to Everest. You will climb along the glacier and reach Lobuche.

You will trek to Gorakshep where you will take a break. You will then climb to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m). Everest Base Camp offers a close-up view of Everest, Khumbu glacier, and Khumbu icefall. After enjoying the wonderful views, you will get back to the Gorakshep. The trail will be covered with rocks and glaciers. You will also see pretty small frozen lakes around the Everest Base Camp.

Day 11: Gorakshep Ride On Helicopter To Kathmandu (1338m):
Early Morning Sunrise at Kalapatthar.
You will climb to Kalapatthar early in the morning from where you will get to see panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse (8,414m), and other surrounding peaks. The sunrise view is absolutely breathtaking and the ethereal glow of the mountains is one to revere. After spending some time at Kala Patthar, you will trek back to Gorakshep, after Breakfast, we will take a helicopter ride to Kathmandu with a stopover at Lukla.

After breakfast, you will be escorted to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back to your home.
