This morning, get ready to discover the city inside out in a TukTuk around Colombo, exploring the best attractions, landmarks, markets, and busy streets. Day 03Anuradhapura

Being the first capital in Sri Lanka, the ancient city of Anuradhapura is one of the most iconic historical sites on the island that shows you the grand history of Sri Lanka. The city is studded with sky-high damage, massive reservoirs, and paddy fields that run till your eyes can see and will add unique memories to your tour in Sri Lanka.

Day 05Sigiriya

Built on a massive column of rock, Sigiriya or the Lion rock fortress of Sigiriya will take your breath away at every corner from history, and architecture to nature. Known as the 8th wonder of the world, the fortress built in the 5th century by King Kasyapa is a piece of art with an amazing view.

Today get ready for a day full of exciting adventures where we take you to Polonnaruwa to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa with massive Buddha statues, dagabos, and impressive temples along with the jolly monkey kingdom. Later in the day, head to the Minneriya national park for a safari adventure and enjoy wildlife, including elephants, deer, peacocks, jackals, and more.

Day 07Kandy

Arrive at Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Along your way, pay a visit to the infamous Cave temple in Dambulla. Go on a Kandy city tour to explore the best sights of the city, including the world-renowned temple of the tooth in Kandy, Kandy Lake and boutique shops, and many more.

Day 08Bandarawela

Today get on a train from Kandy for a scenic ride to Bandarawela. Enjoy the best hill country landscape from rolling mountains covered in mist, rubber estates, tea estates, and waterfalls while experiencing the rhythmic sway of the train. Mingle with locals and enjoy some local snacks from sellers walking past you on the train.

The scenic village of Ella is a sight to behold, with many landscape spectacles. Today explore a tea estate in the area to learn how Ceylon tea is being made. Later in the day, go on a hike to Mini Adam’s peek and, along the way, discover the beautiful 9 arch bridge constructed with no steel by a local.

Day 10Yala

Head to Yala for another wildlife adventure in the most popular national park in Sri Lanka- Yala national park. An evening safari ride into the park will give you a glimpse of many wild animals, including elephants, wild boars, monkeys, and many birds. Sunset at the park is another sight to look forward to with the golden sky and dark silhouettes of trees at a distance.
